Moving On All memory is selective memory. Really, when you think about it, we all try our best to forget or avoid the things which cause friction in our lives and embrace the things that don't. The problem is often times those things are unavoidable, because they are out of our control. The common public attitude is to just deal with those things as soon as possible and then move on. Is that a practical solution? Can somebody truly "move on"? Why Darwin is no threatAccording to some, Darwin and his followers represent a significant threat to Christianity, that somehow it removes the foundation for faith and jeopardises the very existence of God. In this, the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth, I didn't want to let the year pass without making some kind of comment[1] on the issue.
First of all, it seems that there is an assumption within some debates about evolution, that somehow the human being of today is the pinnacle of evolution, that everything that has led up to the development of humans and has now stopped.
